Nidd Smithy is an award winning working blacksmith's forge in North Yorkshire situated near the Dales in Harrogate. We have over 20 years' skill and experience in the ancient craft of blacksmithing and often combine this with modern techniques to create pieces that are both efficiently and beautifully made to our exacting standards. As well as private customers, we also collaborate with service, construction and business customers, providing varied design and structural solutions for projects. We supply and incorporate automatic electrical entry systems with our handmade gates and offer servicing and repair. We also design railings to match, which means you will invest in a design specific security product that will assure, endure and be pleasing to the eye. (We also automate existing gates). At Nidd Smithy we are happy to create both contemporary and traditional wrought ironwork pieces and structures, either bespoke or selected from our portfolio. We make, alter or repair most things.
